Should you need financial assistance in order to attend the conference, there are a limited number of bursaries available for CHF 2,500 each. The funds will first be applied to the registration fee of the winners and then the remaining amount distributed to the winner to use towards their airfare, transport and hotel costs.

The deadline for applications will be 1 August and the winners announced mid-August. Application forms submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Criteria for applications – The Bursary Committee has been created and they will decide on the winners. They will be provided with all application forms and will decide based on need as well as ensuring balance between the types of winners chosen.

The Committee will aim to meet shortly after the deadline and applicants will be advised soon afterwards if they have been granted an award.

Responsibilities of the Winner – The winner will be responsible for ensuring that they take care of their visas and any other formalities needed in order to attend the conference.

The winner will be asked to volunteer for one day of work during the conference. The task will be assigned based on the request on the application form.
