This conference is being organised by the global office of the International Co-operative Alliance (ICA). The ICA is an independent, non-governmental organisation that unites, represents and serves Co-operatives worldwide. It exists to provide an effective and efficient global voice and forum for knowledge, expertise and Co-ordinated action for and about Co-operatives.

While the global office is the main organiser, we have organising committees made up of all of the global bodies of the ICA. These committees have input into the programme and organisation of the conference. All global ICA bodies will also have their own statutory meetings during the conference.  ICA bodies that are represented by one of the organising committees or will have their own statutory meetings during the conference include:
